Vocabulary

Dialogue  /  Role play

 §  Aspectos socioculturales y socio-lingüísticos:

  • reproducen breves diálogos sobre temas cotidianos; intercambian preguntas y respuestas con un compañero.
  • escuchan breves diálogos sobre temas cotidianos, una historia sobre una comida típica británica (Sunday lunch), un video sobre el lenguaje cotidiano, una historia (Chinese soup), un texto sobre las partes comestibles de las plantas y un blog sobre la comida marroquí.

 §   Funciones comunicativas:

  • descripción de animales; características de los reptiles. Petición de información sobre la localización de los animales y sus características. Petición de la hora.
  • hablar sobre experiencias propias relacionadas con alguna visita al zoo. Acompañan la comunicación con gestos para hacerse entender.
  • describen lo que ven en las fotografías del libro; piden y dan información sobre la localización de animales y sus características; preguntan y responden sobre la hora.

§  Estructuras sintácticas:

  • Where’s (the snake)? It’s under (the rock). Where’s (the rhino)? It’s opposite (the lake)? Where are (the snakes)? They’re between (the parrots and the monkeys). Is it (colourful)? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t. Are they (furry)? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. What time is it? It’s (eleven) o’clock. It’s half past (three).
  • He / She likes (rice). He / She doesn’t like (rice). My brother likes (rice) too. There are some (carrots). There aren’t any (carrots). Can you pass me (the potatoes), please? Yes, here you are. Yes, of course. Thanks.
